Rattle the Cage

It's been a long time Since I left you Somethin' honest Rattle the cage

Technically this is how no one should behave At my age or any I've been Him wild explode culprit De-hoped pope no pulpit Plough rope throat pull it Tillin' earth til it hurt Or worse, revert You to careless Talkin' cavern depths Lost flailing flareless Kinda careless Comet crash doesn't care where It's kinda rare When I see a sign that's not ominous Look how disconnected this collective has gotten us It's a hurt that's sheer And works beyond the gears that grind tears Like many a painful truth's head rears While one unkindly... gets on in years The wicks that were my ears Now poorly impersonate hear And I'm good with that Like wolves in Hell slowly removing flesh stripped from my back Good with that Forever with this fever Feelin' insane sickness Fuckin' failure like I paid for it Ain't chorus, just nice ripe slice of truth Long in tooth to my youth I let my ambition use your body And selfish is where selfish got me If it weren't for the affections I show my cat I'm not sure where in this life love's been at And that is real talk Motherfucker, I fed my young to the hawk (I fed my young to the hawk Real talk)

Walk up on a man like I know his father

(I fed my young to the hawk Real talk)

Not yet free man though Demon let my people go

I make, not pretend Some shit not fit For social media Or hitting 'send' This brave new world Does obtusely use the term 'friend' I'm wary of this Capitalist pigs Not meaning what I say Add no meaning to my live Life dig night away To decorate your grave all day I worry for our world In a worst of a way That is to say I bet polar ice caps taste like chicken At all cost make a labor of living Victim to victim Some futures elude prediction 'Cause they are exactly like the present And therein lies a lesson weapon When your cell is both in and outside It should be no surprise You will soon define freedom by your confines (Beat 'em up and feed 'em To a greed you keep unchecked What will keep you weak We'll see, oh maybe a check)

I work, that's it Ain't rich, no worth Will hurt, that's Earth Unless you a beast Then we eat yo' shit! World First I work
