Ashley Cooke - back in the saddle

Hey, whiskey green eyes Your lonely looks like mine "Is that seat taken, mind if I take it? Order up another one of what you're drinkin'"

We can talk about it or just pretend You ain't here 'cause of her, I ain't here 'cause of him We both got a couple names we could cheers to Wasted years too, so baby, here's to

Gettin' back in the saddle Puttin' boots in the gravel Leavin' her memory in an old dust cloud Ditchin' this "missin' him" merry-go-round Baby, whatever we say We've been drinkin' and we ain't Tryna ride off into a red sunset, nah This is just you and me tryna to forget Gettin' back in the saddle

Another double shot for the pain, little Hold you in the dark for the heartbreak Ain't nothin' a tequila, slow dance can't fix Your hands, my hips, all night like this

Gettin' back in the saddle Puttin' boots in the gravel Leavin' her memory in an old dust cloud Ditchin' this "missin' him" merry-go-round Baby, whatever we say We've been drinkin' and we ain't Tryna ride off into a red sunset, nah This is just you and me tryna forget Gettin' back in the saddle

Oh-oh-ooh (gettin' over, gettin' over it) Hmm-mm (but in my mind, he's just a little bit) We both got a couple names we could cheers to Wasted years too, so baby, here's to (here's to)

Gettin' back in the saddle Puttin' boots in the gravel Leavin' her memory in an old dust cloud (in an old dust cloud) Ditchin' this "missin' him" merry-go-round (merry-go-round) Baby, whatever we say (whatever we say) We've been drinkin' and we ain't Tryna ride off into a red sunset, nah This is just you and me tryna forget (yeah) (Gettin' over, gettin' over it) gettin' back in the saddle

(But in my mind, in my mind just a saddle, baby) It don't mean we're gettin' over it (gettin' over, gettin' over it) (But in my mind, he's just a little bit) we're gettin' back on the saddle Gettin' back in the saddle
