Losing my grip Taking everything in stride is it Forgot what it's like to stop and breathe Being one with the pain

It always feels that life is right at my throat Holding me down and left to choke

It takes me breaks me down Still up wondering if or how I save myself Hating who I am I think I've got it figured out My exit plan Step back, take one to the temple

I wish there were another way around Sick of sitting here biting my nails to the bone Looking for another option Or a sign from above

I guess I can't find a higher purpose Held to my head time and time again Still seeing red and now it's out of focus Drain the life out from my eyes Just pull it This is my exit Held myself to a higher standard Too late to start again
