Remember Us

I thought I'd just hop in the truck and drive See if I could find myself somewhere I wouldn't be thinkin' 'bout you Between Memphis and Little Rock I pulled in to some little late night spot Had a beer and a shot Thought it might shake you loose

Tryna outrun a memory In a place that you won't be Yeah, and you're thinkin' here I might Well, it ain't gonna happen tonight

There's gotta be somewhere I can go I've been back and forth down to Mexico Hit Colorado and some cowboy towns Way up high where the sun goes down In a Gulf Coast hideaway Where the wind just blows, it don't say your name Where I can just go to forget Wherever it is, I ain't been there yet Oh, I ain't been there yet Oh, no

Well, they say Montana's the place to be And Idaho's got a lot to see But I know you never did like the cold Guess it's 'bout time for me to hit the road

Tryna outrun a memory In a place that you won't be Yeah, but that missin' you's just as strong Yeah, it just keeps hangin' on

There's gotta be somewhere I can go I've been back and forth down to Mexico Hit Colorado and some cowboy towns Way up high where the sun goes down In a Gulf Coast hideaway Where the wind just blows, it don't say your name Where I can just go to forget Wherever it is, I ain't been there yet Oh, I ain't been there yet Oh

Where there's nothin' to remind me (Nothin' to remind me) Anywhere you won't find me (Anywhere you won't find me) Where I can put it all behind me Yeah, baby, there's gotta be (There's gotta be)

Somewhere I can go I've been back and forth down to Mexico Hit Colorado and some cowboy towns Way up high where the sun goes down In a Gulf Coast hideaway Where the wind just blows, it don't say your name Where I can just go to forget Wherever it is, I ain't been there yet Oh, I ain't been there yet Girl, I ain't been there yet

Mm, I ain't been there yet No, I ain't been there yet Oh, I ain't been there yet
