Kara Jackson - no fun/party

It's hard to have patience when you're waiting on luck Like a postal truck, like a postal truck To bring you a love as tough as elephant tusks No chance of rust, no chance of rust When searching for a reason, he could only find one He said you're just no fun, you're just no fun If seeing you naked wasn't such a bargain It would be a home run, it'd be a home run I think I'm taken for granted Every person that I've dated Tells me I'm intimidating Like a snake that's busy preying I wanna be as dangerous as a dancing dragon Or a steam engine, a loaded gun Be loved for my hazard and a will to destruct And isn't that just love, a will to destruct Isn't that just love? When you're no fun? Isn't that just love? So you've cried every night in your bed So the plans worked better in your head So the knife is your date for the night And the pill is your thrill for a while You'll miss out You'll never wear those clothes out You'll regret The parties you've painted in bed Don't feel sorry for showing up tardy Don't be sorry for missing a party 'Cause somebody's party is missing you too
