Mood Ring

You go dark when it's sunny You light up like summer when it rains You don't laugh when it's funny And just when I call it, you change

Yeah, you're sweet as honey Right after you throw a big fit I like to keep the vibe lovely But you ruin it, so I quit

Boy, you're just a mood ring Always in a mood swing Can't make up your mind about a damn thing Emotions go from yellow, red to purple Got me drivin' 'round in circles with your highs and lows The way you hold me tight then let me go I tried wearin' it, but now I know 1993, it ain't my kinda bling Boy, you're just a mood ring

Don't need a rock on my finger Just somethin' that won't turn it green I don't need a jaw dropping ringer I'm just lookin' for a steady thing

I kinda wish I kept my receipt 'Cause wishy-washy just ain't my speed The way you switch on me like that It makes me want my money back

Boy, you're just a mood ring Always in a mood swing You can't make up your mind about a damn thing Emotions go from yellow, red to purple Got me drivin' 'round in circles with your highs and lows The way you hold me tight then let me go Oh, I tried wearin' it, but now I know 1993, it ain't my kinda bling Boy, you're just a mood ring

Oh boy, you're just a mood ring Mood ring
