ACTRESS!

She wants to be an actress, oh no She wants to buy the mattress I sold We could have been in love, love But she wants to be alone

She'll never be alone She'll never be alone

I heard she's got a movie debut She used to love the accents I use But now I don't hear from her too much She said, "I'm kinda busy, but I'll keep in touch" Heard she's moving into Brooklyn next week Heard she's even got a girlfriend, that's geek 'Cause she used to complain to me so much That these New York women are in such a rush

So many times You'd always say but never show That you wanted to be alone

She wants to be an actress, oh no She wants to buy the mattress I sold We'll never be in love, oh no She'll never be in love, oh no She wants to be a She wants to be a lone She wants to be a She wants to be a lone

I heard she has a big time nude scene I heard it from her stepmom in Queens She said, "I always think of you so much Are you still out west doing the music stuff?" She wants nighttime validation But won't get it from her occupation She has no idea that she will never be in love

But she'll never be alone Actress, oh no She wants to buy the mattress I sold We could have been in love, love But she wants to be alone She wants to be an actress, oh no She wants to buy the mattress I sold She'll never be in love, oh no She'll never be alone, oh no She wants to be alone

She wants to be an actress, oh no She wants to buy the mattress I sold We could have been in love, love But she wants to be alone She'll never be alone She'll never be alone She wants to be an actress, oh no She wants to buy the mattress I sold

She'll never be in love, love But she wants to be alone She'll never be alone She'll never be alone But she'll never be alone
