Static Abyss

Feast upon the soil Drown in the static abyss

The house of flame has spread No second guess, as per contingency A destructive occupation Tearing asunder the very land we walk upon

Bathing in filth, drilling through the mantle Herding to extinction Our errorsome ways are smothering the final breaths of new life Tell me, what is to come of the world you plan to leave behind?

It pains me to say, but I can't change the fact that We are the parasites With every step I will remind myself For those I love I will sacrifice

Against the odds that seem insurmountable The effort of the individual is crucial to our success Standing alone, we hardly have a chance to stop Malpractice tearing the Earth apart, but united There is no feat that cannot be accomplished

Our errorsome ways are smothering the final breaths of new life Tell me, what is to come of the world you plan to leave behind? Does your desire for greed and consumption Outweigh the necessity to nurture our only home?

It pains me to say, but I can't change the fact that We are the parasites With every step I must remind myself For those I love I will sacrifice But that is not enough

Suffocate and perish from within the sickened sediment This is how the corrupted Earth will be saved Tarnished by the grasp of industrialisation What will you leave for the children? Will you watch as they drink impurity Strangled by the ash of your incessant gluttony?
