Let You Down

It's like I'm on the edge right now I wished that I could say I'm proud I'm sorry that I let you down Let you down

All these voices in my head right now I wish that I could shut them out I'm sorry that I let you down Let you down

For the people that was thinking to me, could be getting the perfect person Like I had no sin, like I'm different Because in my rhymes, I had no cursing (Sorry that I let you down)

Looks like I'm a human too But I know this music do make you assume that I rock the super, super No, but I am just me I can't walk the water, I need jet skis and I know God has blessed me So I just breathe on a fresh beat, so I- Don't apologize for pulling back the lever And exposing the show when the god of The Wizard of Oz is simply trash

It's like I'm on the edge right now I wished that I could say I'm proud I'm sorry that I let you down Let you down

All these voices in my head right now I wish that I could shut them out I'm sorry that I let you down Let you down

For them young believers that's going hard for their faith Pursuing God as they chase, make my music part of their day I want you to continue in it, keep going hard and don't stray Even though my path may look different from yours, I want you to pray And no, I am not Lecrae Or any artist from CHH would come off as the largest hypocrite sought in the USA My prayer is that with all of the theology you intake That you actually practice the act of love, this sinner's saved

It's like I'm on the edge right now I wished that I could say I'm proud I'm sorry that I let you down Let you down

All these voices in my head right now I wish that I could shut them out I'm sorry that I let you down Let you down
