A Good Day

So I woke up early morning Decided to start my day Feeling good inside, so I'm walking with a smile upon my face See things just seem to be going well Today must be my day I have no worries, not one at all That words cannot explain

It's gonna be a good day after all Started off on the other side But it turned out to be just fine It's gonna be a good day after all I wish this day would never end But tomorrow we'll try again

Said a day of no more trying Said a day of no more fears And a day of no more crying To a day of no more tears

I can't forget those rainy days That made it what it is Said it got me breezin' through the day And all I can say is this

It's gonna be a good day after all Started off on the other side But it turned out to be just fine It's gonna be a good day after all I wish this day would never end But tomorrow we'll try again

They try to hold me down, down But me not let them cos me gon' 'head and continue walking proud, proud And if you feel me, gon' 'head and ... That's the way we have to get down

I can't forget those rainy days That made it what it is Said it got me breezin' through the day And all I can say is this

It's gonna be a good day after all Started off on the other side But it turned out to be just fine It's gonna be a good day after all I wish this day would never end But tomorrow we'll try again
