We Are Messengers - The Devil Is A Liar

I wear my heart on my sleeve Don't wanna be fake But I heard I should be ashamed From the mouth of a snake Deep down I'd rather feel Show you something real But there is power in my weakness

They can try to keep me silent But I'ma shout it from the mountain No I'm not backing down

The devil is a liar! The devil is a liar! My God has set me free Opened my eyes, now I can see The devil is a liar! And he's not fooling me

I know he won't give up easy, nah He can try but he won't deceive me I can see, I can see right through him He wants me to hide, he's the father of lies But I've a got an army on my side And we're not backing down

The devil is a liar! The devil is a liar! My God has set me free Opened my eyes now I can see The devil is a liar! And he's not fooling me

Though I walk through the valley of The shadow of death, I will fear no evil, fear no evil He comes to kill, steal and destroy But I ain't quitting I'm not backing down Not giving up he can't hold me back 'Cause I run with the King and the truth is

The devil is a liar! The devil is a liar! (oh!) Yes, my God has set me free Opened my eyes now I can see The devil is a liar! The devil is a liar! The devil is a liar! (oh!) The devil is a liar, liar! The devil is a liar, liar, liar! And he's not fooling me
