John Morgan - Crickets

That girl, she can go on and on When she gets her mama on the phone And they start catchin' up Talkin' 'bout the drama back home Yeah man, you ain't seen no bigger fan If you bring up her favorite band She'll ramble on about 'em 'bout more than anybody can There ain't much I don't love hearin' her talk about But when we get to her spot on the edge of town And do what we're doin' right now It's just crickets Got our lips too tied up kissin' The way it's goin' think I know where we're gettin' There ain't much talkin' goin' on That girl she's makin' my new favorite country song crickets Out here in the dark where the river runs Got the stars wishin' they were us yeah I wanna turn it up all night long Yeah she's makin' my new favorite country song crickets Yeah just crickets You can't beat a middle of nowhere field Box wine and a blanket on the ground Makes it easy to lose track of time Pretty soon the sun's comin' out So I ask her if she was ready to head home or not Lucky for me all I got Was just crickets Got our lips too tied up kissin' The way it's goin' think I know where we're gettin' There ain't much talkin' goin' on That girl she's makin' my new favorite country song crickets Out here in the dark where the river runs Got the stars wishin' they were us yeah I wanna turn it up all night long Yeah she's makin' my new favorite country song crickets Yeah just crickets Ooo don't even need that radio on As long as it's me and her alone And crickets Mmm crickets Yeah just crickets Got our lips too tied up kissin' The way it's goin' think I know where we're gettin' There ain't much talkin' goin' on That girl she's makin' my new favorite country song crickets Out here in the dark where the river runs Got the stars wishin' they were us yeah I wanna turn it up all night long Yeah she's makin' my new favorite country song crickets Yeah just crickets The way it's goin' think I know where we're gettin'
